If you are an ambitious Treasury professional, Brewer Morris has a role for you! We are currently working with a leading business for the recruitment of their next Treasury Accountant.
You will be in charge of managing the periodic financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information relating to Group Treasury activities and the respective legal entities
Main Responsibilities:
- Driving improvements and efficiency and control in the accounting reporting process
- Ensure on-going interface with general ledger and monitoring and reviewing its effectiveness and accuracy in accounting
- Responsible for completing bank reconciliations and ensuring all outstanding items are followed up
- Responsible for intercompany reconciliations and settlements and maintenance of loan agreements
- Monitor and report on foreign exchange risk exposures
- Conduct month-end close processes
- Maintenance of Treasury Management System
- Assisting the Treasury Manager with ad-hoc projects
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Qualified accountant with experience of accounting for Treasury IAS32, IAS39 and IFRS7
- Good knowledge of Treasury Accounting
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Valued team player
- Experience using a TMS
