The Watford office boasts a friendly and welcoming environment and is located close to the train station. As an Assistant Tax Manager, you will work within the Partnership Tax Team and support the Senior Manager in dealing with the overseas tax risks and the necessary international corporate filings of the firm's staff. The regions you will mostly work with are the US, Switzerland and Indian territories. Due to the nature of your role, you will have a steady flow of work instead of peaks and troughs. The Watford Partnership Tax Team is also preparing itself for the upcoming Brexit changes and issues that will arise from it, so this will become a key element of your role in the future. You will also have the responsibility of coaching junior members of the team.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be CTA/ACA qualified, or equivalent, with prior corporate tax experience. This position predominately deals with international affairs but you do not need previous experience in expatriate tax as sufficient support and training will be provided. As an individual, you should be able to communicate effectively, be a team player, and be highly numerate for the necessary tax computations.
